About this Collection
Every quilt has a story and so does every fabric collection! The incredible compilation of quilts at the Shelburne Museum in
Shelburne, Vermont embodies a veritable sampling of patterns, textiles, quilting designs and ultimately historical vignettes that beg to be shown and told. One such quilt is the Cornucopia Medallion (1800-1825) that inspired the fabric line, In the Time of Toile. The name of the line evokes an historical time period that embodies chintz and toile fabric, rich and vibrant colors, and both pieced and broderie perse techniques. These authentically reproduced textiles allow for much creativity and will help you create your own story.
About the Designer
Froncie Quinn is a Vermonter who is licensed to create authentic patterns for quilts in the collections of the Shelburne and other museums. In the Time of Toile, her first fabric collection for Red Rooster, was patterned after an elegant appliqued counterpane in
the Shelburne's collection. She is also the co-author, with Celia Oliver, of Enduring Grace: Quilts from the Shelburne Museum Collection.
Froncie is also the owner of HOOPLA, a quilt pattern business. Her patterns have been published in Miniature Quilts, Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilts, and other magazines. She has also appeared on Simply Quilts, show #922. Visit her website at www.hooplapatterns.com to get acquainted with this prolific designer and quilter.

Some great fabrics from P&B Textiles arrived today! I was able to get a good portion of the Hello Dahlia & Le Jardin collections.
Most of the fabrics I carry are close outs/discontinued fabrics from top quality manufacturers. This enables me to offer you the brands you know & love at a reasonable price. The only draw back is that I'm not always able to get the entire collection. You should, however, find that there are ample fabrics in each of the collections for you to be able to get those creative juices flowing! Enjoy!
Thought it was time I tried using my blog to show off some of the wonderful quilting adventures I get to share in. Most, if not all of these are already posted on FB; however, I'm thinking it would be nice if I could only have to post in one spot and have it show up every where! Time is our greatest commodity, we must use it wisely *smiles*
My goal is to offer you quality fabrics at reasonable prices. My selection is limited, but I hope you will check back regularly to see how it grows! The quality of my fabrics and the exceptional prices will more than be worth your it!
